Great Shower, Execution Needs Improvement
I have mixed feelings about the experience. The Good: The shower itself is beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. The material looks great, the marble-pattern finish is stunning, and we're genuinely happy with the final product. I do love the clean and gorgeous shower. The installation was completed over two days, and the shower functions perfectly. The Concerns: Unfortunately, the installation process left much to be desired. On the first day, the installer placed all of his tools and equipment directly on and inside the new acrylic shower unit before leaving. I was extremely concerned about scratches, dents, or other damage to the brand-new surface. Additionally, despite the sales representative explicitly assuring us that a plastic shield would be placed between the bathroom and our bedroom to contain dust and debris, this was never done. The result was a thick layer of white construction dust coating absolutely everything in our bedroom. It took me approximately one hour to clean the room and an additional two hours to wash all our bedding to remove the dust. Bottom Line: While we love the finished shower, the lack of care during installation and the failure to follow through on promised protective measures created significant stress and extra work for us. I would recommend Palmetto Bath for the quality of their product, but with the caveat that customers should be very specific jobsite protection and tool storage expectations with their installer beforehand.
