Walhalla, SC Full Bathroom Remodel
This project centered on creating a spacious, modern bathroom with a strong emphasis on clean lines, contrast, and thoughtful material choices. The existing space was transformed into an oversized custom shower featuring a 66" x 40" custom shower base in white with a centered drain, paired with full-height smooth wall surrounds in Metapeake, installed all the way to the ceiling for a seamless, built-in look.
The shower design was elevated with three matching Metapeake corner shelves, a custom spray panel partition, and a matte black rain shower and handheld system, creating a bold contrast against the soft, neutral wall tones. Safety and comfort were integrated subtly through matte black grab bars, including a grab bar with shelf, and a black composite flip-down seat, blending function into the overall aesthetic rather than calling attention to it.
Beyond the shower, the bathroom received a full design upgrade with sage green custom vanities, accented by matte black linear pulls, and topped with Durasein solid surface countertops in Ever After. A rectangular undermount sink and matte black faucet completed the vanity area with a cohesive, modern finish.
To unify the space, Ashen Grove Marble LVT flooring was installed, bringing durability with the look of natural stone. Specialty work included the construction of a new full wall to support the updated layout, along with ceiling panels and recessed lighting to brighten and open the room.
