Project Coordinated by Palmetto BathEasley SC- Shower and Tub replace
This project features a fully custom bath and shower layout designed to open up the space while separating daily function from relaxation. The shower includes an oversized 72” x 42.5” custom solid white shower base with a center drain that was relocated to accommodate the new footprint, installed over a crawlspace foundation. Surrounding the shower are oversized Milano wall surrounds in the London Fog color, extending all the way to the ceiling at approximately 109 inches, creating a tall, continuous backdrop.
A 12” x 24” recessed black niche was built into the shower wall for storage, paired with matte black Genta shower trim and a matte black rain shower and handheld combination. To define the space while keeping it open, a custom spray panel (32” x 72”) was installed on top of a newly built half wall, allowing light and sightlines to pass through without fully enclosing the shower. A gray accent border runs through the surround, adding subtle contrast to the London Fog panels.
Adjacent to the shower, the bathroom includes a 72” Low Country freestanding tub in white, finished with matte black hardware. The tub sits on a custom textured floor surface, ordered specifically for this application, with the tub drain also relocated to align with the new layout. The surrounding walls were finished with white acrylic wainscoting, tying the tub area visually into the rest of the bathroom.
As part of the remodel, existing mudset tile flooring and walls were removed, and new flooring was installed to support the updated layout.
