Project Coordinated by Palmetto BathGreenwood SC- Walk-In Shower
This bathroom was updated with a full custom shower replacement designed to brighten the space while improving everyday usability. The existing tub was removed and replaced with a 60x36 white center-drain shower base, built on a crawlspace foundation with a low 3½" threshold for easier entry. The shower walls were finished with oversized 12x12 white slate-style wall panels, installed to the ceiling for a seamless, full-height look that reflects light and keeps maintenance simple.
A clear Everest 60x76 tall glass door with brushed nickel hardware encloses the shower while keeping the room visually open. Inside, the shower features Brantford brushed nickel trim, a large Magnetix handheld shower head, and a brushed nickel grab bar with integrated shelf, adding both functionality and subtle safety without interrupting the design.
Beyond the shower, the bathroom received upgraded finishes including LVT flooring in Emerald Bay Marble, bringing a stone-inspired look underfoot with added durability. The vanity area was refreshed with a Thinscape countertop in Soapstone Mist, complete with backsplash, a rectangular sink, and a matching brushed nickel Brantford single-handle faucet. Existing elements like the toilet were carefully removed and reinstalled to preserve layout while accommodating the new build.
